Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) "Refusing to Request Attendance Destroy Democracy..."The president should be arrested."

2024.12.17 AM 11:28
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, which accused President Yoon Suk Yeol of rebellion, urged the government to arrest and arrest President Yoon, who is refusing an investigative agency's request to attend.

The "Emergency Action for Social Reform," which includes the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups, held a press conference near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul at 10 a.m. today (17th), and claimed that there is a risk of removing evidence while President Yoon does not respond to the summons investigation.

He also criticized the investigative agency for taking a passive step, such as repeating the summons or virtually giving up the forced investigation even though it has been nearly two weeks since the martial law occurred, giving time to destroy evidence to those involved in the rebellion.

They also condemned the refusal of the presidential secretariat and the official residence's security office to a request for attendance by the emergency martial law joint investigation headquarters, which means the destruction of democracy.
