China has issued a navigation warning, signaling that it will launch rockets in parts of the West Sea.
China's Maritime Bureau announced today (18th) to 21st that it will ban the entry of unrelated ships into a circular safety control zone with a radius of 3km in the West Sea.
It also banned ship navigation from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day from the 19th to the 21st, indicating a square-shaped safety management area.
However, it did not disclose more details, including the subject of the rocket launch.
According to China's precedent for issuing navigation warnings, the possibility of launching a rocket carrying a satellite at sea or military exercises accompanied by live-fire has been raised.
