U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has officially confirmed his presidential victory in a vote of the presidential electors.
Trump received votes from 312 voters, more than a majority of 538 electors, in a vote in 50 state capitals and Washington, D.C., on the 17th local time.
Trump's rival, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, received 226 votes.
Trump posted on his social media and said we won Pennsylvania and it was very good.
In the presidential election held on the 5th of last month, the American people elected the electors of each state, and in this vote, the electors officially confirmed the president-elect again.
Each state will send the results of the electoral vote to the Federal Assembly by the 25th, and the Congress will complete the certification process with the counting of votes at a joint session of the House and Senate on January 6 next year.
