In response to former Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Hwa-young's conviction in the second trial following the first trial in the case of Ssangbangwool's remittance to North Korea, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon urged Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, who was accused of being an accomplice, to quickly cooperate with the trial.

Mayor Oh criticized on social media that the appeals court concluded that the remittance of Ssangbangwool to North Korea was "the cost of Lee Jae-myung's visit to North Korea," as in the first trial, and that CEO Lee was cowardly dragging his feet when he had no reason to secretly do important things such as remittance to North Korea.

He added that he should quickly cooperate with the trial in his voice to expedite the impeachment of the president, saying that it is too boring to be embarrassed and dragging his feet.
