The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters Special Investigation Team has so far investigated nine people who attended the cabinet meeting held before the declaration of the emergency martial law, including acting president and prime minister Han Deok-soo.

An acting authority is said to have been subjected to a closed-door face-to-face investigation as a suspect of rebellion.

Police said they investigated all 12 people who attended or attended the "Ceremony Cabinet Meeting" except President Yoon Suk Yeol, former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and Unification Minister Kim Young-ho.

Among them, the Unification Minister added that he was questioned by the prosecution despite the police's continued demand for attendance.

President Yoon, acting chief Han, former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, and Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min, who were accused of civil war among the members of the State Council, explained that they are also considering a second summons.
