The Criminal Investigation Office of a high-ranking government official, who was transferred from the Yoon Suk Yeol presidential case related to the emergency martial law incident, sent a request for attendance to President Yoon again and began preparing for a full-fledged recall investigation.

The prosecution is focusing on investigating military officials as the arrest deadline for former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun is approaching.

The high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office has notified President Yoon Suk Yeol of the second summons, but the request for attendance has still not been delivered.

Mail delivery can only be confirmed on Monday, but it is understood that the electronic notice has not been opened yet.

Attention is focusing on whether President Yoon, who said he would fulfill his legal responsibilities, will be investigated by an investigative agency for the first time at the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit here on Christmas 25th.

In line with this, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is reviewing the record of the incident, including checking the overall movement of President Yoon on the 3rd, when martial law was declared.

We are also looking into the data of the police who are conducting a joint investigation because we need to see if the cabinet meeting has been properly convened.

On the other hand, the prosecution, which has withdrawn from President Yoon's investigation, is speeding up at the last minute as the arrest deadline for former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun is due on the 28th.

We are analyzing the voice recording files ordered by former Minister Kim at the Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting at the time of martial law declaration and the confiscation of the police and defense command that intervened in the mobilization of the National Assembly's "arrest aid."

In addition, the government is investigating the situation of the Cabinet meeting before and after martial law, including a recent investigation into Minister of Health and Welfare Cho Kyu-hong and Minister of Unification Kim Young-ho, and a reference to Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Park Sang-woo over the weekend.

However, each investigative agency is only targeting President Yoon, and it is unclear whether President Yoon's first investigation will take place.

The National Assembly has completed the appointment of 17 people, including Kim Lee-soo, former acting president of the Constitutional Court, and Song Doo-hwan, former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, as lawyers for the impeachment trial, but
This is because the defense team has not yet been formed and remains silent on President
Yoon's side.

Attention is focusing on whether the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit will announce its official position after completing the formation of the defense team by the day the second summons is notified.
