Lee Jin-sook, chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, was impeached on the grounds that it was illegal to vote on the appointment of a director of a public broadcaster in the "two-person system" of the Korea Communications Commission.
The impeachment hearing date, which was scheduled for the 24th, has been postponed to January 15 next year.
The hearing was scheduled to be concluded after hearing the final opinions of both Chairman Lee and the National Assembly on the same day, but it was postponed for about three weeks.
