Fourteen people were killed when a liquefied petroleum gas and LPG tanker hit a truck loaded with combustible materials on a highway in India, according to the daily Times of India and other Indian media.

The accident took place on the Jaipur-Azimer highway in the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan at around 5:30 a.m. local time on the 21st.

Immediately after the LPG tanker hit the truck, combustible materials leaked out of the truck and caught fire in an instant, moving to 37 buses, trucks, and passenger cars nearby.

In the process, people who were in the vehicle and were unable to evacuate were killed or burned.

Many of the 28 people who were burned are in critical condition, so the death toll could rise further.
