Candidates for the chairman of the sports association, who oppose Lee Ki-heung's third consecutive term, continued the second round of meetings to discuss unification.
Park Chang-beom, former president of the Korea Wushu Association, Kang Shin-wook, an honorary professor at Dankook University, Ahn Sang-soo, former mayor of Incheon, and Kim Sung-beom, former vice chairman of the Seoul Sports Association, met behind closed doors at a hotel in Mapo, Seoul.
Candidate Park Chang-beom said he will do his best to unify the candidates by the 25th, the last day of candidate registration, and that he plans to push for a single unit even if he does not reach a grand agreement.
This is the second meeting following the 17th, and former president of the Korea Table Tennis Association, Yoo Seung Min, who attended the first meeting, was absent, but additional candidate Kang Tae-sun, who missed the first meeting, attended.
