In 19th-century England, exchanging letters was special.

Many people had to give up their letters because of the complicated and expensive charges.

But in 1840, the world's first stamp 'Penny Black' appeared.

Now anyone can freely send a letter with just a penny.

Especially on Christmas, there were a lot of warm-hearted letters.

But it's a hassle to write letters by hand every time.

That's why it was born as a Christmas card.
