The suspended prison sentence has been confirmed for the twin sisters of Sookmyung Girls' High School, who took the test after seeing the answers leaked by the head of the school's department's father.
The Supreme Court upheld the original ruling, which sentenced the twin sisters accused of obstruction of business to one year in prison and three years of probation.
The court dismissed both the prosecutor's and the defendant's appeals and explained that there was no fault in the judgment of the court below, such as deviating from the limits of liberalism or misunderstanding the law.
The sisters were put on trial in 2019 on charges of obstructing the school's performance management work by seeing the answers stolen by their fathers five times, from the final exam in the first semester of 2017 to the final exam in the following year.
Earlier, the first trial court sentenced him to one and a half years in prison with three years of probation, and the appeals court sentenced him to one year in prison with a somewhat reduced sentence with three years of probation.
