Even on Christmas Eve, rallies were held in downtown Seoul to call for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol.
The civic group Candlelight Action held a rally near Anguk Station in Seoul this evening (24th) and criticized President Yoon and the ruling party as a force to empower the people, calling for the dismissal and dissolution, respectively.
Nearby Gyeongbokgung Station, a civic group called for emergency action held a democracy cheering stick concert to urge President Yoon to step down.
Citizens gathered with various cheering sticks and sang songs calling for impeachment, then marched through the Prime Minister's Office in Samcheong-dong to the Constitutional Court.
