The police are investigating allegations that martial law forces were put into the parliament speaker's official residence and tried to arrest Woo Won-sik?

[Reporter]
Police say they are confirming basic facts about the allegation that martial law military arrest teams have been deployed to the National Assembly speaker's official residence.

The plan is to check the identity based on the previously released video near the National Assembly Speaker's official residence.

In the early morning of the 4th, after the National Assembly passed a resolution calling for the lifting of the emergency martial law, martial law forces, believed to be the chairman of the National Assembly, were put into the National Assembly speaker's official residence and attempted to arrest Chairman Woo Won-sik.

The video captured 13 people, including 11 soldiers and two men in plain clothes.

In response, National Assembly Secretary-General Kim Min-ki urged to find out the truth.

Acting Defense Minister Kim Sun-ho explained that the troops were deployed to strengthen the guard of the official residence, and that they were not martial law forces.

The police plan to check the identity of the person in the video and the background of their deployment near the mission.

Yes, the police called the commander of the second armored brigade of the Army yesterday and continued the investigation until night. The commander of the

brigade was supposed to be the head of the 'Investigation Division 2', which former intelligence commander Roh Sang-won tried to organize as a secret private organization under the joint investigation headquarters of the martial law command. The commander of the

brigade met with former commander Roh and others at a hamburger restaurant in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province on the day of martial law, and it was revealed that they had pre-mocked on martial law,
At the time of the declaration of the
martial law, he was found to have stayed at the Pangyo intelligence office, raising suspicions that he was trying to mobilize a tank unit in martial law.

The police also booked Bang Jung-hwan, an innovation planning officer at the Ministry of National Defense, who was mentioned as the deputy head of the investigation team 2 at the hamburger meeting,
Jeong Seong-woo, the first director of the counterintelligence agency, was also booked after he was found to have received specific instructions from the counterintelligence commander at the time of
Yeo In-hyeong.

Police are currently coordinating subpoenas for the two.

The police previously notified Choo Kyung-ho, former floor leader of People's Power, to attend today for investigation.

Former floor leader Choo was accused of trying to block the passage of a resolution to lift martial law by convening members of the People's Power to the headquarters, not to the National Assembly, at the time of martial law.

The police special team said it is coordinating the date of attendance with Choo.
