In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea presented "three major demands" to the government, the ruling party and the president's office, including discussions without agenda restrictions, regarding the formation of a ruling-opposition-government consultative body to resolve medical gaps.

Spokesperson Han Min-soo met with reporters after the Supreme Council and said, "Limiting the adjustment of medical school quotas in 2025 is fundamentally blocking the participation of the medical community."

He also urged the ruling party to decide exactly what the ruling party's position is, as the government and the ruling party's representative are different on this issue.

At the same time, he asked for clarification on his position to determine the number of medical schools in 2026 through rational estimates, and demanded that the president apologize and reprimand the person responsible for the medical crisis.
