North Korea Seeks Hezbollah and Condemns U.S.-Israel

North Korea has accused Israel of annihilating the Arab people's right to live at a time when clashes between Lebanese militant Hezbollah and Israel have intensified.

A spokesman for North Korea's foreign ministry said Israel's indiscriminate military attacks on Lebanon and the killing of numerous civilians were both a heinous and anti-humanitarian crime.

At the same time, he said it was the United States that controlled Israel behind the scenes, arguing that the United States was a cancer of regional peace and stability and a common enemy of the Arab people.

North Korea is suspected of directly or indirectly supporting the military activities of Hezbollah and Palestinian militant Hamas.
