Unification Minister Kim Young-ho officiated at the wedding of a couple of North Korean defectors in Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, the day after tomorrow (24th).
The Ministry of Unification explained that the bride and groom are North Korean defectors who have no domestic connections but have successfully settled down by faithfully working on their lives, and have met and married at a community North Korean refugee volunteer organization.
In his officiating speech, Minister Kim emphasized that successfully settling in our society and enjoying happiness by having a new family will be a message of hope for North Koreans, and the government will try to be a strong supporter.
