The People's Power has decided to participate in the National Assembly's parliamentary investigation to find out the truth about the case of the death of Chae Sang-byung, which is being promoted by the Democratic Party of Korea.
Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho met with reporters after a closed general meeting of lawmakers and said he will notify the National Assembly Speaker's Office of the list of members of the Special Committee on parliamentary investigation within today.
He then explained that although the National Assembly conducted fact-finding activities through various hearings and parliamentary audits, the Democratic Party of Korea tried to conduct a parliamentary investigation to use it for political disputes, and that he was initially negative about the parliamentary investigation.Floor leader
Chu emphasized, however, that the people's power has decided to actively engage in parliamentary efforts to thoroughly investigate the facts because the Democratic Party's independent parliamentary investigation could be operated in another deformed form.
Chairman Woo Won-sik plans to handle the plan for conducting a parliamentary investigation at the plenary session of the National Assembly the day after tomorrow (4th).
