In his fourth public statement on the emergency martial law issue, President Yoon Suk Yeol made it official that he had no intention of resigning.

On the same day, 42 bills, including bills passed by the Cabinet, were approved, and a motion to appoint Ma Yong-ju as Supreme Court justice candidate was also submitted to the National Assembly.

As the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act and the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act, which were passed by the opposition party, have not been transferred to the government, the second presidential impeachment vote is expected to be a variable.

If the impeachment bill is passed, President Yoon will be suspended immediately and cannot exercise his veto power, but Prime Minister Han Deok-soo can exercise his veto power in his capacity as acting president.

In the meantime, President Yoon's approval rating fell by 5% in a week, falling to 11%, the lowest since taking office.
