The People's Power decided to hold another general meeting of lawmakers the day after tomorrow (18th) to discuss the appointment of the emergency committee chairman following the resignation of representative Han Dong-hoon.
Kwon Sung-dong, the acting leader and floor leader of the party, met with reporters after the general meeting of lawmakers and said, "We have held related discussions, but we have not reached a conclusion yet."
He then explained that no one was mentioned in detail, but if we put together various opinions, the conditions were whether it was suitable as a face of our party, whether it had the ability to deal with this crisis, and whether it had sharp attack on the Democratic Party.
When asked if there was a strand between floor or outside personnel, he answered that it was still blank.
In fact, the opinion that a senior lawmaker with experience in selecting the chairman of the emergency committee should be in charge and that acting president Kwon should concurrently serve as a member of the parliament was discussed, according to a member of the parliamentary committee.
