The government has decided to hold an extraordinary Cabinet meeting tomorrow (19th) presided over by Acting President Han Deok-soo.

The Prime Minister's Office said in a notice that an extraordinary Cabinet meeting will be held at the Government Complex Seoul at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

However, it did not disclose whether it would deliberate and vote on the right to request reconsideration of six controversial bills and the exercise of the so-called veto.

Earlier on the 28th of last month, the opposition party pushed through the "Four Agricultural Laws," including the Grain Management Act, the National Assembly Act, and the National Assembly Testimony Appraisal Act at the plenary session of the National Assembly amid opposition from the ruling party.

The deadline for vetoing the six bills is this Saturday, the 21st.

Acting President Han Deok-soo said earlier that he would communicate more with the ruling and opposition parties regarding the exercise of the veto and listen to the opinions of the officials before deciding whether to exercise it or not.

At the same time, the deadline for vetoing the "Civil War Special Counsel Act" and the "Kim Gun-hee Special Counsel Act", which passed the plenary session of the National Assembly led by the opposition party on the 12th, is January 1st next year.
