June 28 designated as 'Memory Day of the Korean War abductees'

From next year, June 28 will be designated as "Memory Day of Korean War abductees."

The Ministry of Unification said that the revised law, which designates the day as a legal anniversary, was promulgated today and went into effect to raise interest in the damage caused by the abduction of the Korean War and improve awareness of North Korean defectors.
