Kwon Sung-dong, the floor leader of the People's Power Party, argued that if the Democratic Party seeks to impeach acting President Han Deok-soo, it should go through the "Presidential Impeachment Procedure," which requires the consent of at least two-thirds of the registered lawmakers.Floor leader

criticized the Democratic Party at a floor meeting, saying that the appearance of the Democratic Party is like an "impeachment hostage" in which it puts a knife called impeachment of the prime minister on the acting president's neck and stab him if he does not do what he wants.

Referring to the case of the Democratic Party's past push to impeach Lee Sang-in, former acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, he pointed out that the National Assembly proposed an impeachment bill that viewed Lee as the same position as the Korea Communications Commission chairman.

At the same time, he demanded that National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik and the National Assembly Secretariat take the center stage no matter how much the Democratic Party interprets the constitutional impeachment process.
