Rep. Park Sun-won of the Democratic Party of Korea raised suspicions that some of the "black agents" who disguised their status as members of the Armed Forces Intelligence Command have yet to return to their original units.

Rep. Park, a former deputy director of the National Intelligence Service, said in a radio interview, "This is why I think the civil war is still ongoing."

Black agents then added that they do not listen unless they are directly told by their superiors, but they are not returning to the command system, which goes up directly from their superiors, and that they believe they are on standby to carry out their duties.

He then argued that the mission assigned to them is largely related to the chaos of the Republic of Korea, and that there is a mission that can adversely affect the entire Korea-U.S. relationship.

In response, the Ministry of National Defense issued a position and explained that all personnel who had been mobilized related to martial law had returned and all firearms had been returned.

However, he added that he doesn't know any of the black agents who are active on a daily basis.
