People's Power "No vote at the plenary session on the motion to appoint a constitutional judge"

People's Power has announced that it will not participate in the plenary session's vote on the appointment of three candidates for constitutional judges recommended by the National Assembly.

Floor leader Kwon Sung-dong told reporters after the general meeting of lawmakers that he decided not to vote on the motion to appoint judges because he did not participate in the hearing on the increase of the nominee for constitutional judge.

The ruling party then explained that Han Deok-soo, acting president, still maintains the position that he does not have the authority to appoint a constitutional judge.
