Even the acting prime minister is impeached, and the political situation is freezing faster.

The unprecedented "acting as an agent" is confronting each other with a "blame on you" battle, and the difference in positions between the ruling and opposition parties over the appointment of constitutional judges also seems to be difficult to close easily.

I'm connecting you with a reporter from the National Assembly. Reporter Park Jung-hyun.

Impeachment as acting president in 13 days.

The acting system of Choi Sang-mok has begun, what is the opposition's position?

[Reporter]
Yes, the issue of the appointment of three constitutional judges to the National Assembly, which is currently vacant, played a major role in the opposition party's impeachment of Prime Minister Han Deok-soo.

Acting President Choi Sang-mok is also considered the most important variable to take an attitude toward the appointment of a constitutional judge.

Deputy Prime Minister Choi has just started working as an acting president, so we should wait and see, but
The Democratic Party of Korea believes that the judgment will be delayed soon as a regular cabinet meeting is scheduled for the 31st, and January 1 next year is the deadline for the independent counsel and Kim's right to request reconsideration.

He is still reticent about the possibility of Choi's impeachment, saying, officially, it is not appropriate to talk about the family at the party level,

However, a key party official explained on the phone that if acting Choi also showed reservations about the appointment of a constitutional judge, there would be a situation where patience would be limited.

At the same time, the opposition party asked how long they would postpone the appointment of a constitutional judge to the power of the people, and how can a compromise between the ruling and opposition parties be possible since the appointment cannot be made unconditionally?

In particular, the prosecution of former Minister Kim Yong-hyun yesterday raised the level of the offensive, saying that President Yoon's illegal order on the day of martial law and the situation of pre-martial law conspiracy were revealed.

This morning, we also held a meeting of the special committee on overcoming civil war within the party and stabilizing state affairs.

President Yoon's appearance in the former minister Kim's indictment was the same as the modern version of Chun Doo-hwan, raising his voice that he should be immediately arrested.

He expressed his intention to take legal action against the people, saying that there are many propaganda and instigation such as denying the act of rebellion or "impeachment is a rebellion."

As early as the day after tomorrow (30th), the plan is to file a collective complaint against about 10 people, including the leadership of the People's Power, for propaganda of rebellion and incitement.

Representative Lee Jae-myung also appears to be taking the lead in the rental struggle, attending a candlelight vigil organized by civic groups in Gwanghwamun this afternoon.

How is the situation in the ruling party?

[Reporter]
Yes, the People's Power strongly opposed the impeachment of acting Han Deok-soo, saying that the Democratic Party's plan to impeach him for the "devastation of state administration" and "anarchy" was revealed to be true.

With the political situation confused in the aftermath of martial law and impeachment, he even impeached the acting president for unclear reasons of impeachment, criticizing that the Democratic Party is solely responsible for the crisis of state affairs.

Within the ruling party, it is also read that the opposition party can no longer sit idly by if even acting president Choi Sang-mok presses for impeachment.

We will see the results first, as we have already applied for a power dispute trial and a provisional injunction for suspension of the effect of the impeachment of acting Han Deok-soo.
If the opposition party attempts to impeach further in ∀, it will be inevitable to switch to a large-scale offensive mode.

At the same time, National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, who passed the impeachment bill with a majority vote, said it was an arbitrary decision beyond the chairman's authority and said he would consider reviewing legal measures.

The appointment of constitutional judges is also an atmosphere that cannot be withdrawn.

The ruling party points out that the opposition party's claim that Han delayed the appointment of a constitutional judge is a typical frame.

In a call, a key ruling party official stressed that the opposition party entered the impeachment process almost immediately as soon as Han issued a public statement saying that the appointment of a constitutional judge needed to be agreed between the ruling and opposition parties.

He said, "Didn't he show that he doesn't even intend to talk to the ruling party at all?"

However, there are not many voices within the party that should cooperate with the appointment of constitutional judges, and as the ruling party, it is likely to face criticism that it is turning a blind eye to state stability.

First of all, the agony of the 'Kwon Young-se Emergency Committee', which is scheduled to be launched on the 30th, is bound to deepen.
