2025.01.10 PM 01:47
Rep. Jung Sung-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea stressed that consultation is a basic responsibility in the proceedings of the National Assembly, and efforts to talk and compromise between the ruling and opposition parties are essential.

Lawmaker Chung told reporters at the National Assembly that it should not be the case now that the ruling and opposition parties criticize and ridicule each other, and the relationship has been completely cut off.

He then emphasized that lawmakers who coordinate various interests should compromise, yield, and cooperate with each other, and that the president's role in acknowledging the existence of the opposition party is also very important.

Lawmaker Chung said that President Yoon has not made any such efforts, and that I wonder if these extreme situations eventually led to emergency martial law.

The recent poll results, which showed that the Democratic Party's approval rating has fallen, pointed out that the gathering of the ruling party's supporters is the main reason, but the Democratic Party seems to have lacked in taking care of state affairs stability and the economy of people's livelihoods.
