The KOSPI made limited moves, keeping an eye on the aftermath of former President Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election.
Today (7th), the KOSPI closed at 2,564.63, up 0.04% from yesterday.
Individual investors sold more than 200 billion won, but foreigners and institutions bought it, raising the index.
As uncertainties in the U.S. presidential election have been resolved, it has rebounded slightly, led by Trump-related beneficiary stocks.
However, there was a limited trend tomorrow (8th) due to the alertness of the U.S. Federal Open Market Committee, FOMC, to determine the benchmark interest rate.
KOSDAQ closed 1.32% lower at 733.52.
