Last month, the average monthly rent for studio apartments in Seoul was 770,000 won based on the deposit of 10 million won, the highest in five months.
Based on the actual transaction price of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Dabang, a real estate information platform, analyzed last month's deposit for a row and multiple studio apartments in Seoul with a dedicated area of 33㎡ or less, and said that monthly rent rose 5.3% from September.
This is the highest price in five months since Dabang started counting in May.
On the other hand, jeonse deposits averaged KRW 291.15 million, down 2.2% from September.
In addition, when the average monthly rent price in Seoul was set at 100%, Gangbuk-gu had the highest monthly rent price at 1.2 million won, 132% of Seoul's average, followed by Yeongdeungpo-gu, Gangnam-gu, and Dongjak-gu.
Nowon-gu was counted as 430,000 won, 56% of Seoul's average rent, followed by Jongno-gu, Dobong-gu, and Jung-gu.
Jung-gu had the highest deposit of 276.5 million won, followed by Seocho-gu and Dongdaemun-gu.
On the other hand, Gangbuk-gu was the lowest than the average market price in Seoul, followed by Jongno-gu, Nowon-gu, and Dobong-gu with 95.89 million won.
