There were 2,846 buyers aged 6 to 10, and the purchase amount was 16.94 billion won.
Lawmaker Oh said it seems to be an expedient to avoid the monthly purchase limit of 1.5 million won for paper Onnuri gift certificates, and that measures are needed to prevent recurrence.
Earlier, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups decided to lower the monthly discount purchase limit for paper gift certificates from the current 1.5 million won to 500,000 won starting next year to block the illegal distribution of Onnuri gift certificates.
