A son who has hidden his father's body in a freezer for ten months has been caught by police.
Icheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province booked a man in his 40s on charges of concealing the body.
As a result of YTN coverage, it was confirmed that A was accused of hiding the body of his father, who is believed to have died around September last year, in a freezer in his home.
A came to the police station on his own yesterday afternoon (1st) and turned himself in, and the police who went to the scene later found the body of a man in his 70s stored in a freezer at A's house.
A reportedly stated that he had been hiding his father's body due to property-related issues, but the police sent him home after investigating him once.
The police will ask the National Forensic Service to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the victim's death.
