The representative of the major argued that medical students who chose to take a leave of absence due to opposition to the increase in the number of medical students will not return next year.

Park Dan-dan, chairman of the emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association, shared an interview article on his SNS today (4th) about the 2nd anniversary of the inauguration of Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Lee Ju-ho and wrote that he is confident that medical students will not return next year.

In response to Deputy Prime Minister Lee's view that if he does not return to school in March next year, it will not happen because it will be a huge blow to the history of medical students, he also sadly refuted that taking a year or two off is not very bizarre for young people now.

We are also worried about the future of Korean medical care in the next 40 to 50 years, he said, adding that it is questionable whether the two years at hand are such a huge blow.

Regarding Deputy Prime Minister Lee's position that it is absolutely impossible to abolish next year's increase, he stressed that the government should admit that normal education is impossible, not deceive the people, and discuss the suspension of recruitment by school even now.
