A female BJ who threatened singer and musical actor Kim Jun-soo to extort money and valuables was handed over to the prosecution in custody.
On the 15th, the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency's Criminal Task Force announced that it had detained and sent a female African TV woman BJA on charges of blackmail under the Specific Economic Crime Aggravated Punishment Act.
Mr. A is accused of taking 800 million won worth of money and valuables by threatening to distribute a conversation with Kim Jun-soo recorded for illegal purposes from September 2020 to last month.
The police applied for and obtained an arrest warrant for A on the 13th, and sent it to the prosecution on the 15th after completing the investigation.
Kim Joon-soo's agency, Palm Tree Island, said in an official statement, "Although he recognized that Kim Jun-soo was not at fault by abusing the public's gaze, he did not stop doing this by exploiting his position as a celebrity."
"I make it clear that Kim Joon-soo is a clear victim in this case," he said, adding, "We will respond strongly until the end."
