The Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested a man suspected of throwing shoes at Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, who attended the first trial on charges of violating the election law.
Mr. A is accused of throwing a pair of sneakers at representative Lee who enters to participate in the trial in front of the Seoul Central District Court at around 2 p.m. today (15th).
The representative was not injured, it was investigated.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
