Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Kim Bong-sik said the investigation into former President Moon Jae In's daughter Moon Da-hye, who caused an accident while driving while intoxicated, will be completed within this week and sent to the prosecution.
At a regular press conference today (18th), Commissioner Kim said, "The legal review of Moon has almost been completed," and explained that he will hand it over to the prosecution as soon as possible.
Police have also been considering whether to charge Moon with dangerous driving injuries or injuries in addition to simple drunk driving charges.
Moon crashed into a taxi while driving drunk with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.149% on the road in front of the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in the early morning of the 5th of last month.
The police will summon Moon soon to investigate his alleged "illegal lodging business."
