Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, who was convicted in the first trial of violating the election law, will be on the bench again a week later (25th) over the alleged perjury teacher case.
The results of next week's sentence are also expected to be a significant variable in Lee's political activities.

The perjury teacher case began with Lee Jae-myung's false statement of the prosecutor impersonation case, which was confirmed to be fined in the past, during a TV debate for Gyeonggi Province governor in May 2018.
The prosecution judged that Lee taught perjury to Kim Jin-sung, a witness, when he was tried in the election law for his remarks.
At the same time, he demanded a three-year prison term, the maximum sentence according to the sentencing criteria, saying it was a serious crime that disturbed the judicial order.
The prosecution believes that representative Lee demanded that he testify as if he had confirmed the unilateral claim,
The representative of
refuted that it was unintentional, saying several times that he asked to tell 'as soon as he remembered'.
In addition, despite Kim's confession that he "perpetrated with Lee's request," "perpetration" usually refers to contrary to objective facts, but he argues that Kim's subjective memory cannot be viewed as perjury.
The outcome of the sentence is expected to be a significant variable for Lee's political activities.
The sentencing criteria for perjury teacher crimes are higher than violations of the Public Official Election Act,
If convicted of
, the judicial risk of representative Lee, who has already announced that he will fight at the appeals court over the results of the election law, will inevitably become heavier.
On the other hand, if acquitted, the impact of the public election conviction will be somewhat mitigated.
In September last year, the court rejected CEO Lee's arrest warrant, but said the allegations of perjury teachers appear to be cleared.
Attention is focusing on whether the court, which has since heard the case in earnest, will accept Lee's claim that there was "no intention."
