It's been more than a week since the school's protest against Dongduk Women's University's transition to co-education began.
The student council will hold a general meeting of students tomorrow (20th) and vote for the engineering transition, and the school, which announced that the damage caused by the protests amounted to up to 5.4 billion won, forewarned a hard-line response, saying that individuals should take responsibility for illegal activities.

[Protests against engineering transformation at Dongduk Women's University (last 15th): What's so shameful about being caught secretly switching engineering! Don't make a unilateral decision, but discuss it with students!]
It's been more than a week since Dongduk Women's University began protesting against the transition to co-education, but the situation shows no signs of easing.
The school is full of lacquer-written opposition phrases, and the students who participated in the protest continue to occupy the main building, and the class has been converted online.
In the meantime, the student council decided to hold a general meeting of students tomorrow afternoon (20th) on engineering transition.
The number of people who expressed their intention to participate exceeded 1,000, and the general meeting plans to hold students' votes for and against the engineering transition, discuss the president's direct agenda, and deliver it to the school.
[Choi Hyun-ah / President of Dongduk Women's University] Since misogynistic remarks and such are also prevalent in this society, I think it allows (women's universities) to freely discuss women's rights. I think it can be accepted to get rid of this resting place where students can feel comfortable....]
The school is also in a tough position.
Following the announcement that the estimated amount of damage so far has reached up to 5.4 billion won, he expressed his position to sternly deal with illegal activities.
Opposition to engineering conversion or refusal to take classes may be individual freedom, but it is illegal to use violence and interfere with classes, he said, stressing that each person should be responsible for illegal activities made through collective action.
They said they would also receive reports from faculty and students who were affected by the protests.
The repercussions of the conflict between the school and its students are spreading outside the school.
The problem in the school seems to be spreading to gender conflicts, with conservative groups rallying in front of the school for four weeks and threatening to file a complaint with the police by identifying students' personal information.
Attention is focusing on whether the two sides will be able to find an exit as the school's position to stop collective action and students to withdraw the discussion itself, saying they have never formally considered the engineering transition.
