Dongduk Women's University has agreed to temporarily suspend discussions on the transition to coeducational education and resume classes.

Dongduk Women's University announced today (21st) that it has decided to stop discussing the conversion of coeducational after a three-hour meeting between the ministers and the student council.

An official from Dongduk Women's University explained that the student council has decided to lift the occupation of the school building on the premise of announcing the school's position to inform students and proceed through consultation if they resume discussions on engineering transition in the future.

However, the student council has not announced an official position in this regard.

Yesterday, the student council held a general meeting of students and voted for the transition to co-educational education, and as a result, 1971 out of 1973 students, except for two abstentions, expressed their opposition.
