The emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association once again urged the government to stop recruiting medical schools for the 2025 academic year at its first meeting.

The emergency committee claimed that it was to prevent the collapse of education, but the government's stance that it is difficult to adjust the quota next year is also strong, making it difficult to find a point of contact.

The emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association unveiled the results of the first meeting.

The emergency committee members, including medical doctors, defined the current government's policy to increase medical schools as medical farming and set up a day of criticism.

The president and ministers emphasized that the negative impact of the policy will continue for a long time, although it will disappear at the end of the term.

In response, the emergency committee strongly urged students to stop recruiting medical schools for the 2025 academic year.

The government is in a tough position that it is impossible to adjust the quota as there is less than a month left before the announcement of successful applicants from time to time after the College Scholastic Ability Test.

The Yeouido Council, which includes some medical organizations, also discussed the quota issue for the 2025 school year, but failed to find a point of contact.
