More than 90% of the votes in favor of the industrial action conducted by the Seoul Transportation Corporation's third union, the Right Trade Union, the so-called "MZ Union."
The Right Union said it had voted for four days since the 21st, with 91.2% approval for the strike.
This is a figure of 87% of the total 2,70 members voted for, with 1,642 voting in favor.
The union is demanding the Seoul Metropolitan Government to preserve financial resources for the implementation of policy projects, reflect the number of safety personnel, and determine the size of reasonable new employees.
Earlier, the Seoul Transportation Corporation's 1st and 2nd unions are also taking steps to strike.
The Seoul Transportation Corporation Labor Union, a member of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, plans to go on a general strike on the 6th of next month if negotiations on withdrawal of restructuring, normalization of manpower operations, and suspension of the introduction of the single-person flight system fall apart.
The Seoul Transportation Corporation's integrated labor union, which is a member of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, is also taking steps to schedule a vote on the pros and cons of industrial action.
