Police notify 'encouraging resignation of Yoon Suk Yeol regime' by summoning KTU chairman

Police have decided to summon Jeon Hee-young, chairman of the National Teachers and Education Workers' Union, who is accused of encouraging him to participate in the referendum on the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's public crime investigation team notified Chairman Jeon to attend at 10 a.m. on the 3rd of next month as a suspected violation of the National Public Officials Act.

On the 22nd of last month, the KTU posted an appeal on its website in the name of the chairman encouraging participation in the referendum on the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol, which the Ministry of Education saw as a violation of the National Public Officials Act and asked the police to investigate last month.
