At around 11:50 a.m. today (26th), a report was received in Janghang-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, that a sign attached to the outer wall of the third floor of a commercial building was likely to fall down, tilting.
Ilsan Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province, which has taken safety measures, said it controlled the neighborhood to prevent damage to citizens during the one-and-a-half-hour signboard fixing operation.
The fire department explained that the parts that hold the sign and the outer wall appear to have fallen due to strong winds.
Today, the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency received 10 reports related to strong winds, including a tree collapsing, blocking roads and a tent blown by the wind getting caught in a window.
