Prosecutors investigating allegations of corruption by the Korea Sports Association have launched a forced investigation into the Jincheon National Training Center.
The Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office has sent prosecutors and investigators to Jincheon Training Center in Chungbuk Province to search for related data since this morning (28th).
Prosecutors are investigating allegations that there was corruption in the process of signing a 7 billion won Jincheon Training Center facility management service contract in February last year.
Earlier in June, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism asked the prosecution to investigate the contract, saying it was suspected of a close relationship between a high-ranking official of the Korea Sports Association and an official of a winning company.
