The Ministry of Employment and Labor began special supervision of industrial safety today (29th) in connection with the suffocation death of three researchers at Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant.
Starting today, the Ministry of Employment and Labor plans to implement special supervision of Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant and check compliance with the overall safety and health rules under the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
The special supervision is expected to take about two weeks.
Earlier on the 19th, three researchers were killed in the vehicle test space of Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant's electrification quality division, and the Ministry of Employment and Labor has set up a central and regional industrial disaster management headquarters to investigate the cause of the accident and whether it violates the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
