Who are the military officials that the prosecution is calling to investigate today as a reference?
[Reporter]
Jeong Jin-pal, deputy chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Lee Sang-hyun, commander of the 1st Airborne Brigade of the Army Special Warfare Command.
Lieutenant General Jeong Jin-pal was appointed as the deputy commander of the martial law command on the night of the 3rd when martial law was declared.
The 1st Airborne Brigade is one of two battalions that were dispatched to the National Assembly during the emergency martial law crisis.
Brigadier General Lee Sang-hyun has insisted that he was instructed by Special Warfare Commander Kwak Jong-geun to take live ammunition at the time of the incident, but did not follow it.
Brigadier General Lee also said he was told by Commander Kwak that he had received an upper call to bring out lawmakers who were about to vote, and ordered the unit to be beaten back after being briefed on the situation of confrontation with lawmakers and aides.
The prosecution is expected to check the situation in detail on the night of the 3rd for military officials who have watched the emergency martial law incident closely.
