The Supreme Court's sentence of Cho Kuk, leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, who was sentenced to prison in an appeals court on charges of corruption in children's entrance exams, will be held this morning (12th).
If the lower court is confirmed as it is, not only will CEO Cho be arrested and lose his parliamentary seat, but he will not be able to run for president.

Cho Kuk, the leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, is set to be sentenced to the Supreme Court.
In 2019, he was indicted on charges of corruption in his child's entrance examination and was sentenced to prison by an appeals court.There are 12 allegations of representative of
, including corruption in entrance exams through preparation of false official documents, illegal acceptance of scholarships for children, and the investigation of Yoo Jae-soo, former deputy mayor of Busan.
In February, the appeals court found most of the charges guilty and ordered two years in prison and a fine of 6 million won.
If the Supreme Court considers some of the charges innocent and returns them to the appeals court, it will maintain its position as a lawmaker.
Conversely, if the lower court is confirmed, representative Cho will be arrested and lost his parliamentary seat, preventing him from attending the plenary session of the National Assembly on the 14th.
You cannot run in the early presidential election, which will be held depending on whether Yoon Suk Yeol's president resigns or not.
In preparation for the worst, the Cho Kuk Innovation Party plans to take over the next proportional turn and ensure that the votes do not leak during the impeachment vote.
First of all, CEO Cho requested the Supreme Court to postpone the sentence, asking for all-out efforts to resolve the emergency martial law situation.
There is no change in the schedule yet, but there is a possibility that it will be postponed on the day of the sentence.
