Conservative groups held rallies against the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol throughout Seoul.
Conservative groups, including the National Movement Headquarters of the Republic of Korea, held a National Congress to Announce Impeachment at 1 p.m. today (17th) in front of the Constitutional Court, and argued that President Yoon should not be impeached, saying that the declaration of martial law was a legitimate act of governance against the Democratic Party's legislative dictatorship.
He then held a rally in front of the Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Gwanghwamun and the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office from 2 p.m. and said he would continue to speak out to invalidate the passing of President Yoon's impeachment bill.
The group will continue daily anti-impeachment rallies at the Constitutional Court, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Gwanghwamun.
