Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a big-time Democratic politician, won 20 terms in the federal House of Representatives election that coincided with the U.S. presidential election.

The Associated Press says Pelosi defeated Republican Bruce Lough in California's 11th Congressional District.

According to the New York Times, with 42% of the votes counted in the precinct, Pelosi won 81%, far ahead of Rouse, who won only 19%.

Pelosi, who was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in the 1987 re-election of California's 5th Congressional District, has since won 20 elections, including the 8th and 12th congressional districts and the current 11th congressional districts.

She was the first woman to be elected speaker of the Federal House of Representatives in 2007 and served for four years, and served for four years as the second speaker of the House of Representatives in 2019.

Born in 1940, he is 84 years old this year, but he still has a strong influence as a behind-the-scenes power within the Democratic Party.
