Israeli authorities have warned of further attacks in connection with the attack on Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Israel's National Security Council said in a statement it had obtained intelligence that preparations were being made to attack Israelis in various parts of Europe.

"There are moves by pro-Palestinian groups or terrorist advocacy groups to prepare to harm Jews under the guise of protests," the National Security Council said, urging people to watch out for crowded sports and cultural events.

Israelis traveling abroad were also advised to hide their nationality and check for many immigrants from "anti-Israel countries" at their destinations.

Earlier in Amsterdam on the 7th, Israeli soccer fans were attacked throughout the city after the Europa League soccer match between Ajax, the Netherlands, and Tel Aviv, Israel.

This resulted in five injuries and 60 arrests.

Amsterdam authorities have imposed a ban on gatherings and protests in the city's downtown area for safety reasons, but aftershocks continue, with Palestinian-backed protesters flocking to the city's square, arresting dozens of people.

The UEFA Nations League match between France and Israel will be held in Paris on the 14th.

There will also be cultural events in the U.K., including the Jewish Film Festival during the week.
