Trump calls for apology from NYT for 'suspected side-by-side hawking' report

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has demanded an apology from the New York Times, which reported allegations that his aides demanded a large amount of money from a leading candidate during the selection of the next Cabinet.

"Will the failing New York Times apologize to readers for years of Trump reporting being so wrong?" Trump wrote on his social media.

At the same time, they accused them of making false reports only for the purpose of degrading, even though they knew how wrong it was.

He also criticized the New York Times reporter for saying that he is a third-rate writer and fourth-rate intellect, and that he has rarely talked to himself and does not check the facts.

Trump's post was posted shortly after a New York Times report that Boris Appstein, a close aide, demanded a large sum of money from a potential next administration secretary and that a legal team under Trump's direction found evidence.

Trump said in the New York Times that he had never seen a good article in years, but that he had a record victory in the most important presidential election in decades, adding, "Where's the apology?"
