During his visit to the country, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerow said yesterday that he discussed common measures to prevent Yoon Suk Yeol's president and strengthen his security.
Umerow said on Telegram that he believes strengthening cooperation between the two countries will lead to substantial security for the people and region of the two countries, Reuters reported.
In addition, North Korea has sent 12,000 troops to Russia to actively support the attack on Ukraine, and emphasized that their experience in action is a serious threat to South Korea.
Ukraine has been asking South Korea for weapons aid, but the announcement did not directly mention anything related.
Umerow said he also met with National Security Office chief Shin Won-sik and Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video address that Umerov's visit to South Korea focused on discussing ways to come together to protect both countries.
